A long history in brief
The Hejco brand was established by Henry Johansson and Ake Arnell in 1954 in the small villiage of Hyssna, right in the cradle of Sweden's textile industry. Originally, the company only manufactured clothes for nurses. However, as business expanded, the collection of clothing for other professional groups was extended to inclide garments for dentists, chefs, kitchen and cafe workers, cleaning and service staff.
From the very beginning, the company gave top priority to quality, design and sewing skill. Three hallmarks that still define Hejco today. We are, to say the least, proud of having sustained and developed the life-time achievement of Henry Johansson and Ake Arnell so successfully that today, more than a half century later, we have a flourishing company with retailers in many of the Western European countries.
